Never having to wait, no traffic jams, no derailed trams, no coughing and smelly people in buses, always on time. Out in the open. The speedpedelec is the ideal means of transportation, a way of life for me. And no, I don't overspeed or scare people on cycle paths. I chose robustness and safety over absolute speed and ride defensively. Never 45 km/hr.
And yes, I was granted an exemption from Article 6, paragraph 2, RVV 1990 by the Province of Utrecht. The exemption is granted to me for riding the speed pedelec on mandatory cycle paths (indicated by traffic sign G11) and non-mandatory cycle paths (indicated by traffic sign G13).
